Job summary

Nexstar Media Group Inc. is seeking a full-time Production Assistant to join the WFRV Production team in Green Bay.

You will directly manage live audio for newscasts and taped programs, assist with graphics, segment recordings, and promo tagging, while supporting the daily production workflow. The role requires a high school diploma, strong English communication, and the ability to work weekends/holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required or equivalent.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with broadcast control equipment is preferred.
Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
Experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
Related degree or experience is preferred.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Technical direct and run audio for live newscasts and other live/taped programming.
Assist in preparation of newscasts and other programming (graphics, segment recordings, promo tagging, etc.).
Other duties as assigned.
