Job summary

The University of Houston System's Department of Technology Services & Support seeks a streaming technician to maintain on-location streaming infrastructure and operate professional equipment. You will troubleshoot, ensure signal quality, and consult with production staff for events.

A minimum of one year of related experience is required; education may substitute. Experience with video streaming, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop is preferred; After Effects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of directly job-related experience.
• Education may be substituted for experience per policy.
• Knowledge of streaming and video capture services is essential.

Responsibilities

• Administers and maintains streaming and video capture services.
• Supports faculty and other clients with video and multimedia in classrooms and event spaces.
• Produces, live streams and records symposiums and University events.
• Operates video and multimedia equipment including Roland video switchers, matrix and routing switchers, image capture and annotation presentation tech, live streaming, video and audio recording systems.
• Responsible for live streaming and recording on multiple platforms campus-wide.
• Streams video to various content providers as required by clients.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
