Qualifications
Must be 18 years old or older.
Minimum of one year of translation experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in English and the target language.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Responsibilities
Monitor live communication and summarize intercepted communications.
Transcribe audio/video and written communications.
Interpret communications to and from source language.
Provide reports and summaries of communications for law enforcement.
Skills
Native fluency in language(s) other than English
Strong oral communication skills
Ability to understand slang and colloquial expressions
Excellent command of English
Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
