Job summary

Dayton Live is seeking a part-time bar attendant to manage the performance bar operations during shows in Dayton, OH. The role requires ensuring quick, polite service and proficient use of the Toast POS system for bar items.

Responsibilities include inspecting the bar at shift start, assisting volunteers, and coordinating with staff to prevent stockouts while maintaining a professional appearance and reliable service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 21+ preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience with Point-of-Sale System (Toast preferred).
• Food and beverage industry experience is a plus.
• Must conduct duties in a positive, professional manner and maintain customer service initiatives.
• Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personalities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patrons are serviced quickly, accurately and politely.
• Know the performance bar menu items and the Toast POS system as it relates to these items.
• Inspect bar at start of shift to ensure products are available, ice, cleanliness, and Toast POS setup.
• Provide direction to volunteer bartenders to maximize sales; communicate with Barback/Manager to prevent stockouts.
• Demonstrate accuracy, timeliness and dependability.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
