Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator in the Live Receiving area in Robards, KY.

This 2nd shift position requires safely operating a forklift to load/unload combos and skids, moving products to designated locations, and performing regular safety checks. Applicants should have at least 3 months of work history, be able to obtain a forklift license, and be willing to train in battery changes and pallet jack use.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Minimum 3 months of work history with one employer on application.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in Live Receiving area on a daily basis.
• Load and unload combos and skids; move product to required locations.
• Change battery as needed (training provided) and operate pallet jack safely.
• Maintain log sheets and follow Tyson safety policies.
• Be aware of obstacles in travel paths and work in varied conditions.
