Job summary

NAB Leadership Foundation seeks an on-air host to plan, prepare and deliver live and recorded program content for its broadcast station, maintaining a professional standard aligned with the station format. You will interview guests, moderate panels, manage audience interactions, and create online content such as blogs and podcasts for digital platforms, while ensuring FCC compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous on-air experience preferred; degree in Communication or Journalism or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to engage listeners and articulate current affairs clearly.
• Strong reading and ad-lib skills; read copy fluently.
• Knowledge of FCC rules applicable to announcers.
• Willingness to be coached by Program Director or Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver live and recorded program content in line with station format.
• Interview guests and moderate panels or discussions.
• Prepare online blogs, podcasts or videos for digital platforms.
• Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and EAS procedures.
• Build relationships and attend community events or remote broadcasts.
• Operate studio equipment and maintain logs.
• Travel to station appearances and other duties as needed.
