Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • 2–4 years of related work experience running a radio console.
  • Associate degree or vocational training in broadcasting preferred.
  • Experience with Zetta radio automation and Marketron traffic software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate radio station control room and production equipment, including control consoles, recorders, computers, satellite receivers, transmitter control devices, EAS equipment and associated systems.
  • Ensure high-quality on-air sound in live and pre-recorded broadcasts.
  • Record interviews, mix sound elements, and post-produce content for local broadcast.
  • Complete daily news scripts and collaborate with News Team as needed.
  • Coordinate with regional partners (NEPM, CAI, GBH) for multi-site productions and transitions.
  • Maintain radio automation systems and digital networks; assist with basic troubleshooting.
  • Support quality control and implement best practices for audio workflows.
