Job summary

Community Seven Television is seeking a Production and Creative Director to lead daily studio production operations, live switching, and volunteer programming support onsite in Billings, MT. The role requires coordinating with producers, managing a volunteer program, and ensuring high-quality broadcasts for local community programming.

The position includes supervising video crews, editing, archiving events, and developing professional production standards in a nonprofit TV setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in videography, editing, and customer service.
• PEG station experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s related to television production preferred.
• Experience in videography industries.
• Familiarity with non-profit/community work.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Patience, understanding, and a solution-seeking mentality.
• Flexible schedule to work different configurations of 40 hours per week.
• Must be available on the day after Thanksgiving and all Monday evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily studio production and live switching.
• Edit shows as needed.
• Import and encode programming for video server playback.
• Assist with DVD duplication and archiving of events.
• Oversee volunteers and manage a training program for them.
• Oversee work of video crews and ensure professional production standards.
• Coordinate repair activities and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Foster relationships with producers and organizations.
