  • Foster a safe, positive, and engaging atmosphere where students feel guided with compassion and support, maintaining clear, realistic expectations regarding workload, score improvement, and communication with both students and parents.
  • Model accountability in all communications and tutoring sessions, motivating students to build confidence and succeed in their learning journey.
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation and responsiveness to requests for work, maintaining the ability to manage a heavy workload and take on multiple assignments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one.
  • 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience at a reputable test prep or tutoring company, or 1 year of classroom teaching experience in a high school setting.
  • Experience teaching in a virtual classroom, leveraging an online whiteboard and employing diverse engagement tools like chat and polls strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines.
