Job summary

Crimson Global Academy is seeking an online teacher for CS: Intro to Java to lead live, real-time classes for students worldwide. You will use CGA’s curricula and Canvas to present programming fundamentals, problem solving, and object-oriented thinking through Java.

The role requires strong communication, flexible scheduling, and the ability to tailor lessons for a diverse audience, with opportunities to contribute to assessments and CGA’s educational library.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of high school teaching experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Exceptional communication with students, parents, and the CGA team.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and technology-enabled education.
• Knowledge of US high school curriculum and external examinations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live CS: Intro to Java lessons.
• Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive online classroom.
• Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt teaching for strong learning outcomes.
• Plan and communicate clear course schedules, detailing lesson content and assessment timelines.
• Lead professional, interactive live sessions using CGA’s resources and technology.
• Set meaningful homework, design and administer assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
