Job summary

Camp Allen is seeking Outdoor Education Instructors to lead adventure-based activities and teach students daily on a year-round schedule. Instructors will live on site, guide groups, and help them discover nature through hands-on experiences and wildlife education.

The role offers comprehensive training, certifications, and opportunities for skill growth while working with a close-knit team in a 1,000-acre campus environment.

Qualifications

• A passion for inspiring and engaging youth.
• Stamina and athleticism for long hours and active tasks.
• Flexibility to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Comfort with heights and handling animals; willingness to train on belaying.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in youth work or outdoor setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of outdoor activities and teach students daily.
• Develop curriculum, assist with facilities upkeep, and animal care.
• Engage with K-12 groups to spark curiosity about nature.
• Collaborate with a small instructional team and support chaperone-led supervision.
