Job summary

Elizabethtown College is seeking a Residence Hall Director to lead a neighborhood of on-campus housing communities, including traditional halls, apartments, and houses. This role is on-campus, full-time, and requires occasional night/weekend work as part of essential operations.

You will supervise student staff, coordinate housing assignments, conduct health and safety checks, and collaborate with Facilities to address ongoing concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; plus two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise student staff (such as senior resident assistants, resident assistants, and/or community assistants).
• Assist with recruitment, selection, and training of student leaders in Residence Life.
• Supervise student leaders through weekly one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and coaching and development plans.
