Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students.

Initially, duties cover multiple homes with a nine-days-on, three-days-off rotation, transitioning to a placed home with the same group of students. The role emphasizes mentorship, routine management, wellness oversight, and active involvement in devotions and activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
