Job summary

Camp Ministry is seeking a Food Service Associate for a live-in summer role. You will help run the dining hall, serve meals three times daily, and set a welcoming tone for campers as they enter the dining area.

You will participate in meals, cleanup, and related tasks with the Food Service and Custodial teams, while joining after-dinner recreation activities and weekend check-ins in a faith-based community.

Qualifications

• Must be a professing Christian with a personal faith.
• Strong work ethic and ability to keep pace during busy meal service.
• Team-first mindset and good communication.
• Attention to cleanliness and food safety standards.
• A friendly, welcoming presence with campers and guests.
• Willingness to be fully engaged in a live-in summer camp environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dining room clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Assist with meal setup, serving, and clean-up.
• Wash dishes, clean floors, and manage trash and recycling.
• Stock beverage and food stations, including coffee and cereal.
• Greet campers, help with announcements, and create a fun atmosphere.
• Work alongside the Food Service and Custodial teams to keep everything running smoothly.
• Assist with camper check-in and check-out on weekends.
• Participate in camp activities planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, primarily after dinner hours.
