Job summary

WKRC in Cincinnati is seeking a creative Director to join the Local 12 News team. The ideal candidate will have broadcast production experience and the ability to direct newscasts in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities include directing assigned newscasts and productions, collaborating with the production crew on a daily basis, maintaining the production studio and control room, and performing other tasks related to the position, which may include editing.

Qualifications

• Experience Directing newscasts
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
• Typing and good spelling skills necessary
• Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
• Must be able to lift & position 30-pound lighting instruments
