You’ll lead evening newscasts, contribute to digital content, and help develop original programming for streaming platforms, while adapting to fast-paced, multi-platform storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/Film, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Produce impactful evening newscasts that inform and engage the community.
• Write and edit daily news stories for television and digital platforms.
• Make editorial decisions in breaking news situations.
• Collaborate with anchors, reporters, and production staff.
• Fill in on other shifts as needed.
• Prep and assist in OBS recordings and live productions, including camera, audio, and lighting setup.
• Participate in the development of new original programs for 479 First.
• Work with creative services to design graphics, opens, and other visual elements.
• Coordinate with talent and management to ensure smooth production.
• Manage encoding, uploading, and platform compatibility for streaming.
• Stay current with digital trends and viewer preferences.
