Job summary

KNWA & FOX24 in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking an aggressive, innovative Newscast & Streaming Producer to elevate our live broadcasts and digital content. You’ll produce evening newscasts, contribute to streaming platforms, and help develop original programming for our audiences.

You should thrive on breaking news, investigative storytelling, and cross‑platform collaboration with anchors, reporters, and production staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, TV/Film, or equivalent.
Experience in television or radio broadcast/production preferred.
Strong news judgment and understanding of audience needs.
Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented and tech-savvy.
Ability to work well with video journalists, anchors, editors, and engineers.
Familiarity with digital and streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

Produce impactful evening newscasts that inform and engage the community.
Write and edit daily news stories for television and digital platforms.
Make editorial decisions in breaking news situations.
Collaborate with anchors, reporters, and production staff.
Fill in on other shifts as needed.
Prep and assist in OBS recordings and live productions, including camera, audio, and lighting setup.
Participate in the development of new original programs for KNWA/FOX24; work with creative services to design graphics, opens, and other visual elements.
Coordinate with talent and management to ensure smooth production.
Manage encoding, uploading, and platform compatibility for streaming.
Stay current with digital trends and viewer preferences.
