Job summary

FOX 2 Detroit is seeking a Photographer/Editor to shoot and edit spot news, features and sports for our Detroit market. You will capture compelling live shots and edit packages using Edius to deliver ready-to-air stories.

Daily duties include LiveU live shots, coordinating with Assignment Desk, Writers and Reporters, and lifting heavy equipment. Expect weekend, holiday and overnight shifts in varying weather conditions across Michigan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in photography/editing for news.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate LiveU gear.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit spot news, features and sports.
• Perform LiveU live shots daily in the Detroit area.
• Shoot and edit multiple packages daily using Edius.
• Collaborate with Assignment Desk, Writers, and Reporters.
• Work in varying weather and lift heavy equipment as needed.
