Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. operates KTLA and other local and national news platforms. The company seeks a Full Time Material Manager to support the Production department with live content prep, video editing, and archival tasks.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in live News production, strong organization, and proficiency with production systems such as ENPS, BitCentral, Core Media, and Adobe Premiere. This on-site role offers a competitive hourly rate and immediate availability.

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience working in live News production.
Team player with positive, productive communication.
Effective planning, task prioritization, and working under deadlines.
Knowledge of news pre-production processes, technology and workflow.
Able to train others on production workflow and technology.

Responsibilities

Assist News Producers, Writers, and newscast Director with prep and coordination of content for live newscasts.
Coordinate and communicate prep of edited video content for live newscasts.
Track server playout status and content status with reporters live-shot schedules.
Develop SOPs for video content, storage and organization.
Provide Premiere editing support for News bumps and teases.
