Job summary
7NEWS in Boston is seeking an Associate Director/Stage Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, breaking news environment. You will assist the director in the execution of live newscasts including coordination of remotes, break timings and the preparation of graphics. The candidate will also represent the director on set to guide and cue talent.
Availability and willingness to work different shifts and dayparts is a must. This position requires candidate to work 100% in Boston office.
Qualifications
- Experience in live news production or stage management.
- Ability to coordinate remotes and break timings during broadcasts.
- Proficiency with on-set cueing and directing talent when required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the director in executing live newscasts, coordinating remotes and break timings, and preparing graphics.
- Represent the director on set to guide and cue talent throughout broadcasts.
- Maintain flexibility to work different shifts and dayparts; ensure 100% on-site presence in Boston.
