Semafor, Inc. is seeking a recent college graduate to support our flagship live journalism events, Silicon Valley & The World. This temporary role will prepare journalists, speakers, and attendees by compiling briefing materials, background research, bios, and key event logistics.

You will work closely with content, programming, and events teams in a fast-paced command center environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of managing multiple tasks

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience in journalism, communications, Capitol Hill, or executive assistance (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Impeccable judgment and calm under changing details.
• Strong project management with attention to multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsabilidades

• Compile and synthesize complex logistical information.
• Draft and distribute briefing packets for VIPs and attendees.
• Research talking points and gather biographies.
• Support events team in preparation for the event.
