Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA on-site is hiring Residential Living Assistants to live in campus residences and mentor high school seniors, preparing them for independent living after graduation.

The role includes teaching life skills, supervising activities, accompanying students to chapel, collaborating with staff, and providing coverage as needed. Minimum annual salary is $49,080 with full benefits, housing and utilities provided, plus relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver's license; able to become certified to drive a 9-passenger van.
• Experience mentoring, teaching, or coaching youth.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to problem-solve, influence, and collaborate.
• Strong organizational skills, while maintaining flexibility.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google applications, and social media platforms.
• Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism—MHS staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor high school seniors in campus residences.
• Teach life skills such as self-responsibility, budgeting and time management.
• Plan and supervise developmental and recreational activities.
• Accompany students to Sunday chapel services and related events.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance the program and provide coverage as needed.
