Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on-campus with a group of 8-13 students. You will provide care, guidance, supervision and support to help students thrive academically, emotionally and socially.

Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring daily, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and chapel, and budgeting/household reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year legally married couple required.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
