Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus homes and guiding groups of 8–13 students. You’ll supervise daily routines, coordinate activities, and support students’ academic, emotional, and social growth.

This two-person role requires marriage of at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and a commitment to a safe, faith-based campus. Training, relocation assistance, and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to certify to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
