Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks two live-in houseparents to supervise student homes and support daily routines. You will mentor youths, drive them to activities, lead daily devotions, and help manage budgets and reporting.

The role starts with a nine-on / three-off schedule and leads to a fixed, placed home assignment with a consistent group of students. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be at least 27 years old, and have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel with students.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially support various homes on a nine days on / three days off cycle; transition to a Placed Houseparent role.
