Job summary

Iowa State University, Department of Residence, invites applications for a Resident Assistant. The RA lives in the assigned space and fosters a supportive living/learning community, guiding residents and promoting campus resources.

Responsibilities include weekly desk hours, on-call shifts, and program development to support academic and social growth. Must be ISU student with 2.5 cumulative GPA and good conduct.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Iowa State University student.
• Living experience: must have one full semester of community living completed at time of hire.
• GPA: 2.5 cumulative and 2.0 semester GPA.
• Conduct: in good standing with the university.

Responsibilities

• Live in your assigned space for the duration of the year.
• Work 4 hours per week at desk in your community.
• Perform on-call shifts, including weekends and breaks.
• Dedicate 20 hours per week to the position.
• International students may not hold other jobs.
