Job summary

British American Household Staffing seeks an exceptional grounds/house manager for a private 30-acre estate near Philadelphia. Live on-site in a private apartment; manage a fully staffed household with a family of four and three dogs. 6 days/week, early start, flexible for events, travel as needed.

Must have UHNW private household experience, strong domestic skills, and the ability to work independently with discretion in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in UHNW private households or large estate environments.
• Strong domestic skill set including laundry and household organisation.
• Comfortable living on-site and managing staff in a private family home.

Responsibilities

• Estate Management & Operations: oversee daily estate operations, coordinate with vendors/contractors, liaise with staff, ensure guest-ready residence.
• Property Systems Oversight: monitor water, HVAC and mechanical systems; coordinate external engineers.
• Grounds & Support Functions: light gardening coordination with landscaping teams; daily estate upkeep; dog care duties.
