Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking a full-time Flex Houseparent couple to reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision and support for 8-13 students per home.

Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, planning activities, and leading devotions. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive coverage and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

Experience working or volunteering with youth.
Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
Manage household routines and student schedules.
Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
Drive students to activities and plan engaging developmental and recreational activities.
Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
