Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking full-time Flex Houseparents who are married couples to live in on-campus student homes and provide guidance to about 8-13 students. The role includes supervision, scheduling, devotional leadership, and daily care to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver's license with van certification readiness, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel activities.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
