Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, guiding 8–13 students with daily supervision, routines, activities, and devotions to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role transitions from flexible group homes to a placed home, with nine days on and three off. Requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, and a strong commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke‑free and weapon‑free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
