Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full‑time Flex Houseparents who reside on campus to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of about 8–13 students. Flex Houseparents supervise daily routines, mentor students, administer medications, drive to activities, organize devotions and Chapel attendance, and manage household budgeting and reporting.

The role starts on a nine‑on, three‑off cycle and can transition to a Placed Houseparent living

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
