Tranquil Ways Sober Living in Scranton, PA seeks a Live-In House Manager to oversee daily operations at our sober living home. The role requires living on-site to maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment where residents pursue recovery and personal growth.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of sobriety, strong communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to boundaries and safety. This full-time position offers housing, meal support, a stipend, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of continuous sobriety required.
• Experience in sober living, peer support, or recovery leadership preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Organized, reliable, and able to set and maintain healthy boundaries.
• Valid driver’s license (for resident transport).
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, recovery-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Live on-site and serve as the primary point of contact for residents.
• Maintain a safe, sober, and structured living environment.
• Uphold and enforce house rules fairly and consistently.
• Lead regular house meetings and promote a positive community culture.
• Monitor resident compliance with curfews, chores, attendance, and program expectations.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Support admissions and discharges in coordination with leadership.
• Address conflicts, emergencies, or crises promptly and professionally.
• Serve as a positive role model for recovery, accountability, and healthy boundaries.
