Job summary

Always Compassionate Home Care seeks live-in caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support under a Nursing Supervisor's care plan. Duties include personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, and light housekeeping in a safe environment.

We offer a 7-days on, Wednesday-Wednesday schedule, with a starting hourly rate of $19.65 and private pay options. A HH Aide certificate, reliability, and empathy are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • Must have a certificate from a Home Health Aide training program consistent with State requirements with evidence of ongoing in-service education to maintain the certificate.
  • Must have the maturity necessary for establishing and maintaining a good work relationship with the client, the client's family and agency personnel.
  • Have a sincere interest in and a sympathetic attitude towards caring for the sick and disabled.
  • A HOME HEALTH AIDE MUST: Get along well with others.
  • Be dependable and trustworthy.
  • Maintain in-service requirements as specified in State and agency regulations.

Responsibilities

Providing nutritional and environmental support.• Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, walking and feeding the client.• Position the client when instructed to do so.• Assist with certain treatments and therapy as ordered by the physician and approved by the nursing supervisor.• Remind the client to take medications.• Assist with payment of bills ONLY when authorized to do so and it is documented on the assignment sheet.• Run errands when authorized to do so.
