Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. invites experienced Live-In HHAs to join our Nassau County service area.

You will work in clients' homes in Westbury, Glen Cove, Sea Cliff, Oyster Bay, and nearby communities, offering one-on-one care on multiple live-in schedules, including 3-, 4-, and 5-day live-ins plus weekends. Starting rate of $255.45 per day applies, with opportunities to coordinate and split cases with other HHAs and to receive sign-on and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of HHA experience.
Valid NYS HHA Certificate.
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for driver assignments.
Clean driving record preferred.
Physical exam within the past year.
PPD/QuantiFERON within the past year or chest X-ray within the past 5 years.
MMR immunizations within the past 10 years.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
Provide medication reminders.
Prepare meals.
Perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities for driver assignments.
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
