Job summary

Gratitude Homecare of New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Live-In Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care, supporting the client’s comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life. Candidates should have NJ HHA certification and caregiving experience, with excellent communication.

You will assist with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and maintain a safe, comfortable home per the care plan.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey HHA certification preferred/required as applicable.
• Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience with live-in care is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a supportive member of the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care to the client.
• Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and mobility as needed.
• Support the client with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other routine household needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Follow the client’s care plan and communicate important observations to the appropriate team members.
• Promote the client’s dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
