Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and provide care and guidance to about 8–13 students per home. The role begins with nine days on duty followed by three days off, then transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, medications, activities, devotions, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
