Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The position involves living in on-campus student homes and supervising a group of about 8-13 students to support their academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, medications, transportation to activities, devotions, and budgeting. Couples work a nine-on, three-off schedule and may transition to a placed houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple requirement and age criteria.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain van-driving certification.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
