Milton Hershey School on campus in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, provide care and supervision for 8-13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role includes managing routines, transporting students, and leading devotions and chapel, with a schedule of nine days on and three off, transitioning to a placed houseparent role.

Qualificações

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmentally focused activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Support multiple student homes initially, then placed in a single home.
