Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes with 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support in a structured, family-like setting to help students reach their potential.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, transportation, devotions, and budgeting, with a path to Placed Houseparent after an initial nine days on/three off schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
