Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8-13 students, shaping a structured, family-like environment for academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initially, nine days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for married couples.
• All spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
