Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks dedicated married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. You will live on campus in student homes, supervising a group of 8–13 students and helping foster a structured, family-like environment.

The role includes daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, devotions, and reporting; initially you will support multiple homes, then move into a placed houseparent assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth, including mentoring or caregiving.
• Two-year married couple status required by policy.
• Both spouses must be at least 27 years old.
• No more than three dependent children in the student home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; alcohol prohibited on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to assigned students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
