Job summary

Milton Hershey School on the Hershey, PA campus seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8-13 students in on-campus homes.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses be 27 or older. Responsibilities include daily supervision, activities, devotions, and budgeting, with a nine-on/three-off schedule during placement.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initial schedule: nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off.
• Two-person placement as Houseparents with same group of students.
