Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks two married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on-campus and caring for a group of 8–13 students. You will provide guidance, supervision, and balanced routines to promote academic, emotional, and social growth.

As part of a two-person team, you’ll share responsibilities such as devotions, transportation, and budgeting, with a path toward the Placed Houseparent role. Housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and support student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
