Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a married couple for full-time Flex Houseparents. The role resides on campus, guiding 8-13 students in a family-style home while managing routines, activities, devotions, and safety.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years and ready to live in student homes. Compensation includes about $46,917 per person plus housing and meals; relocation and training are provided, with a structured 9-days-on, 3-days-off schedule and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and support student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan engaging/developmental activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially support multiple homes with a 9-on / 3-off schedule.
