Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and mentor a group of 8–13 students. This two-person role requires a legally married couple, ages 27+, and involves scheduling, supervision, and active student engagement.

Initial duties cover multiple homes with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle; then transition to a placed home. Benefits include housing, meals, insurance, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-spouse married couple, at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limits: fish and one dog of approved breeds.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development/recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
