Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on‑campus student homes and supervise a group of 8–13 students. Couples work a nine days on, three days off cycle with a progression to a placed houseparent role.

Responsibilities include mentoring, scheduling, medications, transportation, and leading devotions. Comprehensive benefits and relocation support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8-13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
