Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus homes. You will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

The role begins with nine days on duty, then three days off, and leads to placement as a Houseparent in a single home. Benefits include salary, health options, relocation assistance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27+.
• Up to three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; alcohol not permitted on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to certify to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
