Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a two-person married couple to reside on campus, supervise 8-13 students in a family-like home, and support academic, emotional, and social development.

Two-year married couples, both partners 27+, will lead daily routines, devotions, and activities, with transition to a placed home position over time. Benefits include housing, meals, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one approved dog only.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
