Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full‑time Flex Houseparents. The role lives on campus in student homes and provides care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family‑like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, wellness, transportation, activities, devotions, chapel, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for married couples (minimum two years).
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
