Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Full-time Flex Houseparents couple to reside in on-campus student homes, supervising a group of 8–13 students and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role requires two married individuals, 27+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; able to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational planning.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.

Skills
